21-Year-Old Southington Resident Killed In Maine Crash A 21-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a crash in Maine. Hartford County resident Zachary Swain, of Southington and Marlborough, New Hampshire, died around 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, on the Maine Turnpike. According to Shannon Moss, spokeswoman for the Maine State Police, troopers responded to the area of mile marker 32 southbound on the Maine Turnpike for a motorcycle crash.  An initial investigation shows that Swain was exiting the highway and failed to negotiate the curved southbound off-ramp, Moss said. Norwalk Man Nabbed For Sex Assault Of Minor, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with the alleged sexual assault of a minor. The incident occurred in Norwalk in July 2023. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police Department, the Special Victim’s Unit received a complaint regarding the sexual assault of a minor.
