The women will tip off at 5 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. for all three doubleheaders.

“This is an excellent opportunity to showcase our men’s and woman’s basketball teams to the residents of Westchester County. We are very thankful to the officials at the County Center for bringing Mercy College basketball back. With the opening of the Hudson Hall, we also felt that this was necessary to afford as many students as possible the opportunity to watch our hard-working basketball teams,” said Athletic Director Matt Kilcullen Jr.

The Mavericks will play at the County Center for the first time since playing their home games at the arena during the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons. Chief Student Affairs Officer William Martinov said it is wonderful that the college is returning to this historic venue.

“Mercy has a long history of hosting games at the County Center. This is the venue where these men and women will one day graduate, so for them to play there and for our students and alumni to cheer and laugh there is full circle. This is just another way that Mercy partners with our home county,” said Martinov.

“I am excited to play at the County Center as it reminds me of my days at Mount Vernon High School where we won Gold Ball sections three times,” said junior William Robinson, who will take the court for the men’s team.

"My teammates and I are thrilled to play in the Westchester County Center because it's like playing in a big arena,” said senior Deasia Goodson, who plays on the women's team.

Tickets will be available for sale at Ticketmaster starting Wednesday, Jan. 13.
