Officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to the mall’s parking lot on Sept. 18, where there was a report of a domestic incident.

Police said that the investigation determined that Baldwin Place resident Richard Antonucci violated a Carmel Criminal Court Temporary Order of Protection by allegedly following his victim to her car, grabbing her arm, which caused her to drop her cell phone. Antonucci then allegedly pushed his victim back and picked up her phone to prevent her from calling for police assistance.

According to police, investigators were able to get in touch with Antonucci, and he agreed to surrender himself to officers at Yorktown Police Headquarters on Monday, Sept. 24.

Antonucci was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal contempt and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. He was released on $2,500 bail and is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court at a later date to answer the charges.
