CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. Chappaqua has several events going on this weekend for residents of all ages. There will be scavenger hunts, tag sales, the farmers market and more. Take a look below for the list of events:
From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, the First Congregational Church of Chappaqua is holding its third annual tag sale. The sale will also continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
At 3 p.m. on Friday, the Chappaqua Library will continue its Twains Domain theme when the Teen Zone invites teens to create candy houses inspired by Mark Twains literature. Participants must bring two bags of candy to share.
Later that night at 7, the library is hosting a vieweing of Ken Burns documentary, Mark Twain.
The Chappaqua Farmers Market will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Chappaqua Train Station.
The Horace Greeley High School football team will be playing its last game of the season when they play at Spring Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
On Saturday at 5 p.m., the Chappaqua Library is welcoming participants to dress up in Halloween costumes and scavenge the library in search of clues that will lead them to a surprising Twist with Twain ending. Participants must register.
