CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Despite Con Edison working around the clock to restore electricity in Chappaqua and throughout Westchester, there are still nearly 2,000 residents and numerous businesses in New Castle without power. The largest area affected is Hardscrabble Road, with more than 450 people without electricity.
In addition, there are still more than 300 residents without power along North Bedford Road, as crews work to repair service wires on Brevoort Road in Chappaqua.
There are also more than 200 people without power on Old Chappaqua Road, Seven Bridges Road and Douglas Road. More than 100 people are in the dark in Millwood as well as on Hamilton Road, close to exit 32 off of the Saw Mill Parkway.
