Westchester Pajama Program Ready To 'Stuff A Bus'

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Pajama Program, a local charity that provides pajamas, books, and care to homeless children, is ready for its 8th annual “Stuff a Bus” week, Nov. 9-13.

During this week, schools, business, libraries, and local individuals contribute pajamas and books to children. At each location, donors try to fill a bus, floor to ceiling, with donations.

On Friday, Nov. 13, Genevieve Piturro, founder and executive director of Pajama Program, and others will announce the total donations for the week.

Here are times and places for donations:

Monday

9:30 a.m. – Scarsdale Middle School, 134 Mamaroneck Ave., Scarsdale
10:15 a.m. – Heathcote, 26 Palmer Road., Scarsdale
11:15 a.m. – Yonkers Montessori, 160 Woodlawn Ave., Yonkers
12:15 p.m. – Dodson, 105 Avondale Road., Yonkers
2 p.m. – Cottle School, 2 Siwanoy Road, Tuckahoe

Tuesday

9:30 a.m. – Coman School, 558 Bedford Road, Armonk
11:00 a.m. – Osborn,16 Osborn Road., Rye
11:45 a.m. – Midland School, 312 Midland Ave., Rye
1:00 p.m. – Yonkers Chamber of Commerce, 55 Main St., Yonkers

Thursday
