Learn About Elder Planning At Three-Part Lecture Series By NWH

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Northern Westchester Hospital and SeniorBridge invites the senior community to a free three-part lecture series regarding elder asset planning at Northern Westchester Hospital's Chappaqua Crossing site.

Northern Westchester Hospital’s Chappaqua Crossing facility is located at 480 Bedford Road, Chappaqua. 

The first lecture will focus on Top 10 Estate Planning Mistakes and it will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18. The next lecture will discuss Elder Law Asset Planning Protection on Wednesday, Oct. 22. For the final lecture, a discussion on whether To Use a Will or a Trust will be the focus. All lectures will be held from 10 a.m. to noon.

Each lecture will be led by expert speaker Moira S. Laidlaw, a highly accomplished attorney who concentrates her practice in complex trust and estate planning, probate, guardianship and small business planning. Known for her compassion and attentiveness, she takes great pride in counseling her clients during often sensitive situations, drawing on her deep legal knowledge and thoroughness, to find a favorable outcome for all parties. Laidlaw is a frequent speaker on probate, estates and gift tax issues.
