Monday, Aug. 20

Read the Book/See the Movie: 6 p.m. Read books, then experience them on film. Pizza will be served at the event, which is for children in third to sixth grades. Registration is necessary as space is limited. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

No Town Board Meeting: The New Castle Town Board will not meet again until September.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

Stitch and Chat: 1 p.m. Join other needlework enthusiasts to exchange patterns, ideas and techniques. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Rising Dragon: 7 p.m. Katonah Museum of Art will present a "virtual tour" of its new exhibition about Chinese Photography. In her PowerPoint lecture, Judy Newman will present highlights from the exhibition and talk about the artists and their many fascinating messages. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Thursday, Aug. 23

Mah Jongg Club: 7 p.m. The Mah Jongg club is for players at all levels. Instruction as well and coffee, tea and cookies will be provided. The library will provide cards but those attending are asked to bring boards, if possible. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Night Owls: 7 p.m. The Chappaqua Library will continue its summer tradition of Night Owls story times for children ages 3-5 with an adult. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

New Castle Justice Court: 7:30 p.m. Justice Court is in session every Thursday at New Castle Town Hall. 200 S. Greeley Ave.
