Mercy College Sponsors Women's Empowerment Conference

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Mercy College is hosting a program on women's empowerment entitled “From Excepted to Expected: The Journey of Women to Empowerment.”

Billed as a conference for first generation and non-traditional college-educated women exploring women’s leadership and empowerment, it will take place on Friday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mercy College 

Rotunda, Mercy Hall in Dobbs Ferry. Keynote speaker will be Susan Taylor, founder of CARES Mentoring and former editor of Essence magazine.

The panel will feature: Donna Rosato – panel facilitator, senior editor, Money – Consumer Reports; Lynn Stratford, senior vice president, Program and Community Engagement – U.S. Fund for UNICEF; Regina Jacobs, vice president – Morgan Stanley Smith Barney; Zoila Tazi, associate professor – Mercy College School of Education
