Multiple storms will result in slick driving conditions and travel delays in the Northeast the first part of this week.

While the storms are expected to impact New England more than the Hudson Valley, and especially points farthest east, the National Weather Service, in a Hazard Weather Outlook advisory, said area residents should monitor the latest updates.

There is a slight chance of snow after 1 a.m. Monday with little accumulation expected. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s with wind-chill values between 20 and 25.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, with a high hovering around the freezing mark. Intermittent, light snow is likely throughout the area, with Westchester expected to see the brunt of the snow, with 3 to 5 inches possible during the day. For an updated report, click here.

On-and-off snow is expected to return overnight into Tuesday, especially in areas farthest south and east. Less than one inch is expected between 2 a.m. and daybreak Tuesday.

Tuesday will be a mostly cloudy day with a high around 32 and snow likely in much of the area. About an inch of snow is expected.

The snow chance continues Wednesday and will last through midnight.

The National Weather Service says uncertainty as to the potential for each of the systems remains high in terms of track and intensity at this time.
