According to their web site (Donahue and Smith), the board claimed to have used the "fictitious" bond to pay for repairs at the plant plant 4 times. They also posted a copy of the Pilot agreement which indicates Entergy will go back on the tax rolls at the current rate. Personally, I like the pictures of the holes that have rusted through the steel beams. Glad I don't have to walk over that tank everyday.

“Newspaper people are supposed to at least try to hold themselves to a higher standard,” YEAH RIGHT! The only thing that drives "newspaper people" is putting dramatic spins on otherwise boring events in a effort to boost publication! Hence the term "Power of the Press". View Comment
The PD should have left a note or otherwise contacted the property owner advising him his property was confiscated for violation of code.... and he can pick up his property at headquarters; or the dumpster behind it. View Comment
Unless you live in the Montrose-Verplank area; where you are encouraged to operate your ATV's and snowmobiles at high rates of speed with no regard to the general public because the police will not stop you. HAPPY MOTORING! View Comment
