Wow, really ms. King? You don't see that there is that much of a difference between a resident and non-resident? You don't consider a 67% difference much? I do. im not getting a merit increase this year, the economy still sucks and it is harder and harder to get from one month to the next. So yeah, 67% is a big difference. You also don't seem to consider that you keep alienating permit parkers more and more with each addition of daily parking? Even with a permit unless you get to the train station by 7:45am you're not going to get a spot anywhere near the train station. Forget getting there after 8:30am. You may as well walk from your home. How about making it easier for new businesses to open in Croton instead of taking the lazy way out and depending on the revenue from the station to get you through. Don't even get me started on how you differentiate between a resident and non-resident. That's another discussion in and of itself and is equally unthought out as many of the parking lot decisions are.
And as for parking and taking the train from cortlandt--I've done the math. Costs more as cortlandt is the next zone up, so there is no cost savings there. And there are fewer trains. View Comment
I agree with 'representative' -- I find it hard to believe that they don't charge their vendors, thereby making money. As a person who works fulltime in the city, the timing just doesn't work. Aside from the fact that although I understand that local = more expensive we just don't have the disposable income to shop there.
What happened to the farmers market that was in the old video place? Is that owned by a different farmers market vendor? View Comment
