A convicted felon in a Jeep outfitted with red and blue lights has been apprehended in South Central Pennsylvania, authorities announced on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Johnny Lee Jackson Jr., 55, of Berwick, was driving a 2020 Jeep he had modified with red and blue flashing police-style lights when was pulled over, at 5:19 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg detailed in a release. He was reportedly going 94 miles per hour in a marked 65 MPH zone at 146 US 15 South in Straban Township.

Brentwood Man Admits Posing As Nypd Officer To Get Store Discounts
Impersonating a cop to save a buck will land a Long Island man in prison for years.
Eric Diaz, age 43, of Brentwood, pleaded guilty to a felony count in Suffolk County Court Wednesday, Oct. 11, after being caught with multiple fraudulent NYPD identification cards.
According to prosecutors, Diaz posed as a cop on multiple occasions while visiting a retail store in Bay Shore between April and May 2023.
During the visits, he displayed what looked like a police badge, handcuffs, and a handgun and asked for a “police discount.”

Bergen County actor and restaurant owner Frank Vallelonga Jr. was identified as the alleged overdose victim whose body was found dumped on a Bronx sidewalk earlier this week, authorities said.
Vallelonga, 60, a longtime Paramus resident more recently of Franklin Lakes, lived in a long shadow cast by his late father, Frank Sr., an actor known for his recurring role on "The Sopranos" -- and whose nickname, "Tony Lip," gave his son's Italian pasta and pizza joint its name.

A former New York police officer was arrested for carrying a fake badge, weapons and ammunition outside the US Capitol, authorities said.
Jerome Felipe, age 53, who relocated to Flint, Michigan, parked his 2017 Dodge Charger near Peace Circle on the west side of the Capitol shortly before 5 a.m. on Friday, June 3, according to US Capitol Police.
Felipe had served in the NYPD, according to multiple reports, including The Sun.

Virginia Vertetis, infamously known as a “lady killer,” was sentenced to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison on Friday, according to a release by the Morris County police and court documents.
Vertetis, 59, of Mount Olive, NJ, was first investigated following the murder of her boyfriend Patrick Gilhuley, as CBS News reported during her trial in 2018.
