Quaker Wrestlers Come Out On Top At Greeley Duals

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Horace Greeley wrestling team competed against nine schools in the Greeley Duals on Saturday, Dec. 7, winning the tournament with a victory over Cornwall in the Finals.

Finals?: Horace Greeley 43, Cornwall 30

?Paul Seham started the match with a huge pin in 1:37. Ryan Rudinger recorded his fourth victory of the day majoring his opponent 12-4.

Elijah Kim took his opponent into overtime before eventually losing the match 5-7. Shawn Soneja was awarded the victory 7-0.

Liam Mercer finished his day undefeated 5-0 by dismantling a tough wrestler by fall in 43 seconds. Mitchell Klein ended his day with another fast pin in :47. Brock Cvijanovich finished his day off undefeated 5-0, with a 4-3 decision.

Nic Phillips recoded his pin in 3:29, and Billy Marino finished the day undefeated 5-0, earning a 3-0 decision.
