Pace's Manning Named USA Baseball Manager

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pace University head baseball coach Henry Manning has been chosen by USA Baseball to manage in the 18 and under Tournament of Stars presented by Major League Baseball.

The event, which began on Tuesday in Cary, N.C. consists of 108 athletes scattered amongst six teams. This will be Manning's second year coaching with USA Baseball, as he once again leads the "STARS" team onto the diamond in the Tournament of Stars. "I am honored to be selected once again to be part of the coaching staff that will represent the USA this summer," Manning said. "I am looking forward to working with the best 108 kids the USA has to offer" Following the Tournament of Stars, the coaches and eight members of the event's task force will evaluate the athletes, and select the 18U National Team which will represent the USA in amateur play against other international teams this summer.
