CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- One team will continue its quest for the Section 1 Class A football championship while the other will be eliminated from the playoffs Saturday, when Harrison travels to Horace Greeley for a 2 p.m. start.
Both teams are 3-3 and coming off of tough losses, entering the regular-season finale. Harrison, the 2010 Section 1 Class A champions and state finalist, dropped a 17-7 verdict to archrival Rye and Greeley, the 2010 Section 1 Class A runner-up, gave away a 13-point halftime lead in a 30-25 loss to Ossining.
It was Harrisons second loss in its last three games and Greeleys third consecutive loss. The Quakers did get quarterback/linebacker Justin Ciero back last week after he missed the majority of the second half the previous week against John Jay-Cross River.
