Greeley Beats Rival Fox Lane To Win League Wrestling Title

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- For the first time in 27 years, the Horace Greeley Wrestling team beat Fox Lane High School's team 51-24 to win a league title on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The win, the first since 1990, and the first victory over Fox Lane in over 20 years was led by coaches Mike DeBellis and Anthony Tortora.

Seniors honored during the event included: Alex Baretz, Stephen Nadler, Nic Phillips and Joe Sasso.
