ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College football team opens the 2012 season Saturday and two Westchester County athletes will play a major role on the team.
Westlake High School graduate Will Carter and Horace Greeley High School alumnus Josh Liemer are two impact players on defense for the Bombers.
Carter, who registered 44 tackles last year, is a starting linebacker and captain while Liemer starts at safety. Last year, Liemer was second on the team in tackles with 61. He also led the team with four interceptions and three fumble recoveries.
