What's for Lunch at Chappaqua's Elementary Schools?

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- Can't decide if you should pack lunch for you children to take to school?

The Chappaqua Central School District said it offers meals made of fresh and all natural ingredients including sandwiches made with Boars Head products, Bell and Evans chicken products, antibiotic-free organic hot dogs, and locally grown produce when available.

Here's a look at what's for lunch this week in Chappaqua Central School District's Elementary Schools:

Tuesday - Grilled cheese sandwich, veggie pasta salad or tuna sandwich, fruit & vegetable bar and hormone free milk

Wednesday - Barilla Plus Pasta (plain or with meatballs) with garlic bread or turkey sandwich on a whole wheat roll, fruit & vegetable bar and hormone free milk

Thursday -Hamburger sliders on a bun with lettuce and pickles, sweet potato puffs or egg salad sandwich, fruit and vegetable bar and hormone free milk

Friday - French bread pizza or sliced chicken sandwich, fruit and vegetable bar and hormone free milk

Each day, an alternate Lunch is available for those who do not wish to eat the main entree available that day. Each day this month, the alternate lunch is a bagel served with a hardboiled egg, cheese stick or yogurt.
