What's for Lunch at Chappaqua Elementary Schools?

At Chappaqua Central School District elementary schools, meals are prepared fresh and with all natural ingredients each day. Lunch is an important meal and parents of students in the Chappaqua Central School District no longer have to worry about what's in their child's school lunch, as Chappaqua Central School District makes their lunch from all natural products, locally grown products, and healthy whole wheat.

Here's a look at what's for lunch this week in Bedford Central School District's Elementary Schools: 

Tuesday – Nacho platter with seasoned beef, tortilla chips, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and salsa or Cheddar Cheese Quesadilla, fruit and vegetable bar, and hormone free milk with each meal.  Alternate Meal Choice: Bagel Lunch with a hard boiled egg, cheese stick or yogurt

Wednesday – Cheese Tortellini with marinara sauce and garlic bread, Caesar Salad or Turkey Sandwich on whole wheat roll. Fruit and vegetable bar, and hormone free milk with each meal. Alternate Meal Choice: Bagel Lunch with a hard boiled egg, cheese stick or yogurt

Thursday- Hamburger or Cheeseburger on a whole wheat bun, with your choice of toppings, including: lettuce, tomato, pickles. Sweet potato puffs or egg salad sandwich. Fruit and vegetable bar, and hormone free milk with each meal.                                                                        Alternate Meal Choice: Bagel Lunch with a hard boiled egg, cheese stick or yogurt

Friday - Cheese pizza, Sliced chicken sandwich, or whole wheat pizza. Fruit and vegetable bar, and hormone free milk with each meal.                                                                                    Alternate Meal Choice: Bagel Lunch with a hard boiled egg, cheese stick or yogurt

At Chappaqua Central School District, October marks taste testing days. Harvest sweet potatoes topped with a choice or cinnamon or maple syrup are on the menu this month. Grafflin Elementary's taste testing will be held on October 12, Westorchard and Roaring Brook's taste testing will be held on October 14.
