CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Seven Bridges Middle School Principal Martha Zornow will be leaving her position at the end of the school year, Superintendent Lyn McKay announced Monday in a letter to Chappaqua Central School District families.
Zornow will be taking a position of principal in the Public Prep program in New York City.
“Martha has been an outstanding administrator--a supporter of students and faculty alike,” said McKay.
“She has been a leader through challenging times and has always maintained the very highest standards and expectations for herself and for everyone else in the building. For all that she has done at Seven Bridges, and in the Chappaqua School community, we thank her.”
McKay, in addition to finding a new principal for Douglas Grafflin , will now also search for a replacement to fill Zornow’s spot.
“The search for the next principal of Seven Bridges Middle School will begin in earnest this Sunday, with an advertisement in The New York Times , along with postings in state and national educational journals,” said McKay.
