Michael Rettig Joins Ccsd for Knowledge Cafe Forum

Internationally recognized School Scheduling Consultant, Michael Rettig will be joining Chappaqua Central School District Assistant Superintendent, John Chow and district middle school principals for the Knowledge Cafe forum on Monday, October 24.

The forum begins at 7:00 p.m. In the Robert E. Bell Middle School Auditorium. Rettig will be sharing district enrollment data and alternative scheduling models.

According to district enrollment projections, filed on October 5, 2012-2013 enrollment projections are similar to prior years. Based on those projections, the district has decided it is not time to consider consolidation of the middle schools.

However, the district wishes to explore more effective ways of scheduling at the middle school level so as to promote fiscal responsibility. The Knowledge Cafe forum will allow for community input on each scheduling model the district has developed.
