The Horace Greeley Theater Company will be performing Urinetown on Thursday at 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

In "Urinetown", a terrible water shortage and 20-year drought has led to a government ban on private toilets and a proliferation of paid public toilets, owned and operated by a single megalomaniac company: the Urine Good Company. If the poor don’t obey the strict laws prohibiting free urination, they’ll be sent to the dreaded and mysterious “Urinetown.”

Theater Director Jonathan Gellert said he was excited to tackle a play like "Urinetown."

It's "one of the smartest, funniest musicals that I know of," Gellert said. "It blends lowbrow and highbrow humor. It also parodies important social issues.”

The cast and crew feature almost 70 students. For tickets, visit http://greeleytheater.tix.com
