R.I.T. COMPUTING MEDAL & SCHOLARSHIP AWARD Awarded to a junior who ranks in the top 10% of the junior class. This student represents qualities of character, citizenship and academic achievement. Elizabeth Pott OBERLIN COLLEGE BOOK AWARD Awarded to the junior with the highest academic standing in English. Julia Desmarais PERFORMING ARTS NEW YORK STATE SCHOOL MUSIC ASSOCIATION AWARD All State – Orchestra Each year, thousands of junior and senior musicians from New York State audition at the New York State School Music Association Evaluation Festival. The top scoring high school musicians are chosen to perform in the All-State Band, Orchestra, Chorus and Jazz Band. The Performing Arts Department is honored to recognize students from Horace Greeley who have been selected for these ensembles. This person has earned the respect and admiration of those who have had the opportunity to teach him/her. Angela Sun RENSSELAER MEDAL AWARD Awarded to the junior who distinguishes himself/herself as an outstanding academic achiever who teachers love to teach.
