Greeley Seniors Go Back To The 80s For Musical Inspiration

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- They may have been born in the late 1990s, but these teens are hopping in the Delorean and bringing it way back to the era of E.T., hair bands and acid washed jeans.

Horace Greeley High School seniors and staff will be performing the school's 2016 senior musical in April. The show's theme is Back to the 80s.

The senior class at Horace Greeley High School is set to perform this year's senior musical -- a two-act show with the theme, Back to the 80s -- on four occasions this April.

The performances are to take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 8 p.m. Friday, April 15 and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, according to a statement from the school. Tickets cost $20 each and can be purchased here.

The musical, which will actually feature scores of talented teachers and students who have been rehearsing since February, will celebrate a host of the classic decade's best music, including Wham!'s "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror," Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up," and Madonna's "Material Girl."
