Horace Greeley High School honored its 297 graduates of the Class of 2011 Sunday in its 80th annual graduation ceremony on the front lawn.
The audience received addresses from Greeley salutatorian Molly Pickel, as well as Interim Superintendent of Schools, John Chambers, and President of the Board of Education, Janet Benton. Principal Andrew Selesnick also honored his departing students while 2011 Class President, Gae Min Lee, Student Council President Hikari Senju and from Greeley Valedictorian Matthew Townsend, reminisced fondly about the conclusion of their four years at Horace Greeley.
Senior Class Principal Michael Taylor then presented the Class of 2011 with their diplomas honoring their hard work and dedication at their four years at Greeley. After the class received their diplomas, they tossed their graduations caps into the air in customary celebration of their achievement.
