Chappaqua Schools Budget Public Hearing Set For Wednesday Night

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – With May 21's school election looming, the Chappaqua Central School District will hold a public hearing for its proposed 2013-14 budget Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the Horace Greeley High School academic commons.

The budget—prosposed at $103,110,992, carries a 2.0 percent tax levy increase and would cut 12.39 positions throughout the district.

The public meeting will also include a Chappaqua Library budget presentation and an update on the district’s Seven Bridges Middle School principal search.
