CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – The Chappaqua Central School District has rescheduled its snow-canceled Jan. 16 board of education meeting to 8:15 p.m. Thursday.

Topics of discussion for the meeting included a budget talk for the 2013-2014 school year and a safety update from Superintendent Lyn McKay.

The meeting will be at Horace Greeley High School and the night's agenda can be found here.

Thunderstorm Warnings Posted For Westchester For Tuesday

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. - The National Weather Service posted a thunderstorm warning for southern Westchester County at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

The storms could be accompanied by lightning, hail and high winds of up to 50 mph, the weather service said.

Bacteria ID'd As Cause Of Westchester Food Event Illnesses

VALHALLA, N.Y. – The bacteria that sickened some festival-goers who attended Westchester’s Burger and Beer Bash at Kensico Dam in Valhalla earlier this month has been identified as Campylobacter, the county department of health announced Monday.
