Chappaqua School Budget, Library Budget Easily Pass

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Voters overwhelmingly approved the 2015-16 Chappaqua school and library budgets, results show.

The school budget passed by 800 to 155, while the library budget was approved 829 to 124.

A special ballot proposition to authorize spending funds on renovating Horace Greeley High School's cafeteria passed by 841 to 103.

Meanwhile, incumbent school board member Alyson Gardner was re-elected 777 votes. Gardner, who is currently the board's vice president, ran unopposed.

Maggie Christ, who also ran unopposed, was easily re-elected to a library board seat, receiving 714 votes.
