Chappaqua PTA Plans Inaugural STEM Fest For Saturday

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- STEM Fest, a chance for attendees to share their expertise with hands-on maker workshops or presentations for kids, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Robert E. Bell Middle School.

Businesses, camps, after-school programs, "makers" and experts in  science, technology, engineering and mathematics such as doctors, scientists and engineers are welcome to attend the event. 

Registration is closed for the event for exhibitors and students, although the general public can attend free of charge.

Two-hundred students are scheduled to show their work.

Exhibitors include Bits Bytes Bots Computer Adventures; Bricks 4 Kidz; Bruce Museum; Chappaqua Garden Club; Chappaqua Library; Chappaqua Fire Department; Chappaqua Children's Book Festival; Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps; Cognizant; Curious on Hudson; Digital Arts Experience' EduStation; Ghostery; Google; IBM; Ken Ken Puzzle; Kiwi Country Day Camp; Millwood Water Treatment Plant; New York State Thruway: The New Tappan Zee Bridge; PNW BOCES Tech Center; Regeneron Pharmaceuticals; Rick Lee's Nature Awareness School and Camp Nabby; Skinny Buddha (providing food); Villarina's (providing food); Westchester Amateur Astronomers; and Westmoreland Sanctuary.
