Chappaqua After-School Activities Canceled

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - All after-school activities have been canceled at Chappaqua schools due to an anticipated storm that will bring heavy winds, snow and rain.

The Horace Greeley High School gym will remain for showers and charging.

In a phone message to parents, Superintendent Lyn McKay said to prepare for delayed opening tomorrow if it snows, as roads will be difficult to plow.

With more than 3,000 still without power in New Castle, McKay said the Horace Greeley High School gym will remain open from 4:30 to 9 p.m. for showers and charging. If there is no school tomorrow, the gym will open at 9 a.m.
