The $118.2 million proposal would increase spending by $323,600, or .27 percent, over the previous year's budget, according to the district.
There is no increase to the tax levy and eligible property owners will receive a tax rebate from the state because the proposed increase is below New York's tax cap, the district said.
The proposal, which was adopted on April 13, seeks to align personnel based on the district's mission, strengthen social/emotional/health supports for all students, continue development of a digital learning environment that prepares students for a globally networked society, expands professional development around teaching and learning practices related to innovative learning spaces, supports 80 athletic teams at all levels of competition and adjusts personnel to effectively manage enrollment at all schools, according to the district.

Residents will be able to vote on the schools budget from 7 a.m .- 9 p.m. on May 17 at the Horace Greeley High School gymnasium.
