Bladensburg resident Dwayne Richardson, 35, is facing multiple murder charges after 29-year-old Moshood Akinrinsola, 25, and 29-year-old Abdul Bah, who had no fixed address, were found shot to death in the back of an SUV, according to police.

At around 3:40 a.m. on Dec. 7, 2022, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 5400 block of Annapolis Road in Bladensburg to investigate a reported crash, where they found both men inside an SUV suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

After a months-long investigation, the department announced this week that Richardson had been identified as a suspect and he was arrested without incident.

Investigators say that Richardson and his victims knew each other, though the motive for the fatal shooting remains under investigation.

Richardson was charged with two counts each of first- and second-degree murder, as well as other offenses. He is now in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
