Dominick Nicholas Divizio, 72, Formerly Of New Milford

NEW MILFORD, N.J. – Dominick Nicholas Divizio, of Toms River and formerly of New Milford, died Sunday, March 20. He was 72.

Born in West New York to Antoinette Villani and Dominick Divizio Sr., he lived most of his life in New Milford. 

He was a passionate man who enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling funny stories. He worked as the owner of a plumbing and heating business. In his spare time, he enjoyed umpiring Little League baseball, coaching basketball and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his spouse and best friend, Ellen; four children, Linnea Pantaleone and her husband, Anthony, Deana Divizio and her fiancé, Jeff, Daniel Divizio and his wife, Vanessa, and his son Anthony Divizio; grandchildren Nina and Danny; his sister, Natalie Aversa; nephew, Carl Lind and his wife, Gianna; and other nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center.
