Brittany Rubino, 22, of Weber Hill Road, was arrested Feb. 5 by the sheriff's Narcotics Enforcement Unit. She's charged with multiple counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony; and with third-degree felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Police said an undercover officer was able to buy cocaine on several occasions. The investigation started after officers learned of a woman selling cocaine in various areas of Putnam County, police said.

Rubino was arraigned in Carmel Justice Court, and is being held on $1,000 cash bail at the Putnam County Correctional Facility pending a future court date, police said.

If found guilty, the punishment is up to 25 years at a New York correctional facility and a fine of up to $30,000, police said.
