Trump Taps Former Mount Kisco Resident To Lead Russia Probe Legal Team

President Donald Trump, who has an estate in Bedford, is going one town over for help when it comes to the Russia probe now being overseen by special counsel and former FBI Director Robert Mueller.

Trump has selected Marc Kasowitz, a former Mount Kisco resident, to head his legal team as the investigation over whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election heats up, according to Politico.

Kasowitz has represented Trump in his class action lawsuit against Trump University and when Trump wanted The New York Times to retract a story about two women accusing Trump of touching them inappropriately. 

Kasowitz has earned the president's trust and his viewed as someone the president will listen to, according to Politico

Trump, who owns the $19 million Seven Spring estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
