An additional “Special Meeting” Chappaqua Crossing public hearing is slated for Tuesday at 7 p.m. if enough public interest remains.
Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce Co-founder Rob Greenstein, who spoke in the first hearing, has sent an email to the Chamber urging merchants to come out Monday afternoon.
“Every single merchant - in both Chappaqua and Millwood - must attend,” he said in the email. “The Town Board must hear from the merchants regarding their plan to create a third business district. I will be there.”
Greenstein also emailed two poster to merchants. One poster says, “Say No To A Strip Mall At Chappaqua Crossing,” while the other says, “Closed To Save Our Downtown.”
The later is for merchants to post on their doors if they need to close their stores to attend the midday Monday meeting.
