League of Women Voters of New Castle To Host Candidate Night

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The League of Women Voters of New Castle is hosting a community Candidates Night on Thursday, Oct. 24.

The Candidates Night begins at 7 p.m. at the Chappaqua Library Theater at 95 South Greeley Ave. in Chappaqua, according to a press release. Residents are invited to ask the local candidates questions and enjoy refreshments during the evening. 

The following is a listing of candidates who have accepted the invitation to appear at the candidates night, according to the release: 

Westchester County Legislator Dist. 4 (1 Legislator): Gregory Kane Michael Kaplowitz

New Castle Town Supervisor (1 Supervisor): Robert Greenstein Penelle Paderewski

New Castle Town Board (2 seats): Adam Brodsky John Buckley Lisa Katz Michael Wolfensohn

Town Justice (1 Justice): Stuart Miller Noah Sorkin

"After opening statements, candidates will respond to questions from the audience," according to the release. "Following the question and answer period, candidates will give closing statements. Judicial candidates will present a statement; no questions will be taken from the audience."

The evening event is free and open to the public, according to the release, and will be recorded by NCCMC and will be streamed live.
