From Chappaqua To Philly: Hillary's Hometown Posse Heads To Convention

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- At least a baker’s dozen of professional women will be heading to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in a few weeks, according to a report by lohud.com.

Dawn Greenberg, center, a member of Chappaqua Friends of Hillary, says the group will be well represented at the Democratic convention in Philadelphia this month. She is shown with Iris Weintraub Lachard, left, and Randee Glazer.

Members of Chappaqua Friends of Hillary -- who call themselves refugees from the corporate world, according to member Dawn Greenberg -- have been strategizing, volunteering and campaigning for fellow resident and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, lohud.com reported.

Chicago native Clinton, and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, purchased their home in the hamlet in 1999 and have lived there since the president left office in 2001.

The power couple are frequently seen around town walking their dog, or patronizing local shops, a member of the Friends group told lohud.com.
