CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- A new poll shows Chappaqua resident and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has taken a hit in approval ratings, but still remains the very early front runner, according to The Wall Street Journal.
In the last seven weeks, registered voters with a negative view of the former Secretary of State jumped from 36 percent to 42 percent. In the last month the number of voters who viewed Clinton as honest dropped from 38 percent to 25 percent, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Clinton, however retains a firm grip on Democratic voters, with 76 percent holding a favorable view of her. The approval rating among party voters is greater than any of the Republican suiters in the poll, The Wall Street Journal.
