Alyssa Bevilacqua, 49, was arrested after a computer check during the stop revealed that she was driving on a suspended license. A further investigation revealed that her two passengers were in possession of hypodermic needles, Kent police said.

Bevilacqua was charged with driving without a license. Her passengers, Adam Greenberg, 41, of Stormville, and John Puco, 26, of Poughkeepsie, were charged with possession of hypodermic needles.

All three were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 29.
