Quaker Bridge Road Main Break Leads To Dozens With Reduced Water

OSSINING, N.Y. - Some Ossining residents may experience slightly discolored water and reduced pressure on Wednesday afternoon following a water main break on Quaker Bridge Road.

At approximately 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning, crews from the Ossining Department of Public Works and Police Department responded to a water main break that will affect dozens of residences for several hours.

According to DPW crews, the water main break will affect the entire length of Quaker Bridge and Old Albany Post Roads. Homes on Waterview Drive, Applegate Way and Riverview Farm Road may also experience decreased water pressure.

Ossining police officials are on scene assisting DPW crews.
