Teen Shoplifters, Wanted Man, Top Mount Kisco Police Blotter

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Three teenagers were taken into police custody in Mount Kisco after being caught red-handed attempting to shoplift from a local business.

Westchester County Police were called to a South Moger Avenue store on Monday, Oct. 10, when the store's manager reported that the three sticky-fingered teens had shoplifted nearly $50 in merchandise.

Ultimately, the manager opted against pressing charges against the three, but requested that police contact their parents, ordering them not to return to the store.

Other items on the Mount Kisco Police blotter from Sunday Oct. 9 through Monday, Oct. 16 include:

  • Westchester County Police were dispatched to Kirby Plaza on Thursday, Oct. 12 when a woman reported that someone was yelling biblical verses toward her in an alley. Upon arrival, officers reported that the man told police he was a preacher and would lower his voice.
