Police ID 22-Year-Old Victim Of Fatal Motorcycle Crash On Sprain Parkway

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Police on Friday identified the motorcyclist killed in Thursday night's crash on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway in the Town of Greenburgh.

New York State Police at the Hawthorne barracks said Oliver Blake, 22, of Manhattan, tried to pass a vehicle in the right lane at about 9:50 p.m., striking the vehicle from behind. Blake was thrown from his motorcycle, which then collided with two other vehicles also traveling south, police said.  

Blake was taken to Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, where he died of his injuries, police said.  

The crash remains under investigation, and state police are asking witnesses to contact Investigators at 914-742-6392.
