Police responded at 8:55 a.m. to the report. The woman reported the man, who was driving a tan car, also followed her a short distance, said police. She did not get his car's license plate number, said the report.
In other crime last week, detectives are investigating a Thursday morning, Aug. 4, report from a village resident that he was the victim of fraud and identity theft, according to police. The resident said that someone apparently stole his mail and cashed a check that was sent to him, said police.
Police also responded to the following in Mount Kisco last week, according to Westchester County Police:
Thursday, 3:25 p.m.: A resident of Grove Street reported that someone took her wallet after she left it on the kitchen table of her residence. The woman said she shares the home with eight other people, and that the wallet contained contained $250 cash, a credit card and personal documents.
Also on Thursday, at 12:56 p.m., a village resident reported that she has been receiving harassing phone calls from a relative who is incarcerated at the Westchester County Jail.
Monday, Aug. 1, 1:45 a.m.: Police responded to a residence on Amuso Drive on a report that a man was having trouble breathing. The Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded and transported the man to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
Monday, Aug. 1, 5:51 a.m.: Officers responded to New Castle Drive on a reported of fallen wires. Officers found a Verizon cable had fallen into the roadway. Mount Kisco DPW personnel also responded and secured the wires pending the arrival of a Verizon crew.
Monday, Aug. 1, 8:55 a.m.: A village resident reported that her 14-year-old daughter had not come home the night before after leaving the house following an argument. County police determined the girl was at a friend’s home in Yorktown, picked her up there, and returned her to Mount Kisco.
Monday, Aug. 1, 11:22 p.m. -- 8:55 a.m. – Officers responded to South Moger Avenue on a report of a loud dispute between two drivers. Officers determined that one driver had cut the other off on the Saw Mill Parkway, leading to the confrontation.
