Chase Bank Branch In Millwood Is Robbed Again

MILLWOOD, N.Y. -- New Castle Police announced that a robbery was reported on Friday at the Chase bank branch in Millwood. The robbery is the second to have occurred at the branch in less than two months.

Police said that a man walked into the branch at around 5:30 p.m., approached a teller and demanded money. The man subsequently received the money - police are not disclosing how much - and less the branch.

The suspect was described as being five feet, eight inches and having a "medium build."

No arrests have been made as of Monday, New Castle Police Det. Sgt. James Wilson said, adding that the matter is under investigation.

A previous robbery at the branch was reported on Nov. 24. Wilson said that no arrests have been made in connection with that case, which is also still under investigation.
