Teresa (Ross) Cruz, 45, Of Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Teresa (Ross) Cruz, 45, of Chappaqua, died Aug. 8 at her White Plains home. She was born May 1, 1968, in Los Angeles to Robert and Mary Ross. Ross was Bat Mitzvah at Temple Beth El, was selected first chair flutist in the Westchester All County Orchestra, and attended Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, graduating in 1986. In 1993 she married Richard Cruz of the Bronx.

Cruz enjoyed spending time with friends and her interests included music, reading, cats, and attending concerts in New York City. She was a huge fan of Duran Duran.

She is survived by her father, Robert Ross of Mt. Kisco; her brother Marc Ross of Duxbury, Mass.; and ex-husband Richard Cruz. Cruz a was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Ryan) Ross.
