Giuffrida and her husband, Dr. Joseph Giuffrida were married on August 15, 1943. They continued to live in Brooklyn where they raised their five children until 1976, when they moved to Millwood.
Their home was described as always being open to family and friends. She was known for her unending hospitality and generosity. She was known for ger warm smile and genuine kindness. She was truly loved by all who knew her.
Millie was predeceased by her husband, son Anthony and eleven siblings. She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughters Nina Dorsett, Elaine Sevush, Dr. Regina Giuffrida McMenemon, JoAnn Dong, daughter-in-law Roseann Giuffrida, sons-in-law Brent Dorsett, John McMenemon, Arthur Thomas Dong and grandchildren Lisa Dorsett, Jeremy Sevush, Dr. Jennifer Sevush-Garcy, Kristian Giuffrida, Jeanette Giuffrida, Kaitlin McMenemon Taraby, John Joseph McMenemon, Patrick McMenemon, Jacqueline Dong, Colette Dong and great grandchild Elodie Garcy.
A funeral mass was held Friday.
