CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – John M. McGuire, of Chappaqua, died June 7. He was 75.
McGuire was born Nov. 2, 1939, to Beatrice and Felix McGuire in Mount Kisco, graduating from Peekskill High School and serving in the U.S. Army.
He spent 25 years working for the Somers Central School District and was the superintendent of the Fair Ridge Cemetery in Chappaqua.
McGuire was predeceased by his parents, brothers Robert and Don McGuire and son-in-law Tom Weldon.
He is survived by his wife Barbara; brother Phil McGuire; four children, Michelle Huff, Debbie Krinitsky, John McGuire, Jennifer Weldon; two sons-in-law, Richard Huff and James Krinitsky; and seven grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville.
A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Kisco.
