She was born in Rome, May 9, 1913 to Giulo and Emma Moscato.  She married in Genoa in 1936 and escaped to New York City from Paris on the eve of World War II with only her baby daughter and her mother.  Shortly thereafter, she started her own business making hats and dresses in New York until her husband, Heinz, was able to safely emigrate from Europe.

The family lived in Teaneck, N.J. before moving to Chappaqua to be closer to family.  A decade after losing her beloved husband of 62 years, Alisa relocated to Napa to share her final years with her youngest son and his family.  During those years, she continued her life-long love of playing Bridge and also became active with the Red Hat Society.

Lippman is survived by her daughter, Coco Gordon; sons; Robert (Angela) Lippmann and Lawrence (Bridget) Lippmann; grandchildren, Deborah (Eric), Jan (Derek), Robert (Rebecca), Sharon (Stanley), Daniel (Emi), Madi and Sarah; great grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Miles, Emma, Grace, Ethan and Kohana; nieces, Kathleen and Daisy; nephew, Sergio and other extended family across the Atlantic.

Memories and words of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
